AHAHAHAHAHAH

I was going to make this Leon, but decided he gets made fun of too often. Then it would be Panther but thought, meh. Then Fox, but realized it wouldn't work with the following rant. So for some god unknown reason I made it Pigma.

Anyhow.

A peeve I have with the reaction to Command is that suddenly Krystal's a "bitch". Because there's something SO WRONG with being mad at the guy that pretty much destroyed your life. Star Fox was ALL she had, then Fox turns into an out-of-character angstpot and boots her off. That's like my boyfriend, a saxophone player, telling me he doesn't want me to play in the band anymore because he doesn't want me to get arthritis or something...while he keeps on doing it himself (which he'd never do, of course, ILU).

So, Krystal, who "loved" Fox and who existed only on Star Fox (y'know, considering the whole "my entire race/planet is dead" thing) and who CHOSE to be a mercenary has that abruptly taken out from under her feet without any deliberation. So she gets rightfully angry.

Yet, despite this, despite their romance ending being completely, totally and entirely FOX'S FAULT...everyone is mad at her.

Of course, Fox says sorry and she doesn't accept it. But that's because Fox didn't say, break her favourite piece of china, or show up late for a date. He selfishly wrecked her livelihood and whatever life she had. In fact, him apologizing is just him being selfish as well, because he only "wants" Krystal. He doesn't even consider (nor do half the fans, evidently) that Krystal, who now has a responsibility with her new family (the CDF or Star Wolf), would be acting just as equally selfish if she just up and went "'K GUYS THANKS FOR ACCEPTING ME IM LEAVING NAO" just to run back to the guy who she had hardly any in-game romance with.

What the hell. I don't even LIKE her that much, but this entire reaction is so utterly rediculous that this had to happen.

If any character is deserving of hate in Command, it's Fox. He goes from respectable, somewhat sarcastic hero, to a blubbering mess of angst and eyerolls. Krystal was actually relatively in-character, considering how she acted in Adventures. Fox? He got butchered.

For a while, I thought this was a Chris Crocker parody XD

It comes close, but with Krystal as the subject ^^; Very good.

How do you put a star back in the sky?
Is there a way that a spider can fly?
And why do great clouds sometimes cry?

Oh, it is totally a Chris Crocker parody xD There's just more of a point behind it...I guess I could have been more sarcastic and said "LEAVE FOX ALONE", which now that I think of it, would have been a better idea if it weren't for the fact that nobody is bashing Fox...xD oh well

I'm not sure who would be more annoying...Crocker or Pigma. Personally, I have desire to listen to either. :XD:

One of the things I realized recently with Command is that, while Krystal does get rather icy in some of the paths, whenever Lucy is factored in (since it's explained that they've talked since her breakup with Fox), she's a lot calmer and more respectable. Even in the Anglar Emperor route, even though she admits to joining Star Wolf to hurt Fox, you can at least sympathize with her, because she's clearly hurt but not "OMG I HATE YOU ALL," and is dignified enough to not simply shut him (and everyone else) out when they cross paths. In fact, in that default ending, Fox is still overprotective to the point of having no faith in her as a teammate, so it's understandable that she'd bolt again in time.

Yeah, exactly. I won't deny she was mean to him, but I just have a problem with a certain amount of people that run around bitching at Krystal as if it were all her fault and that she's nothing but a big old meanie Dx

:XD: Very true. You have to admit, there were routes where she really went nuts exacting revenge, but I think that was an attempt to show what allowing her bitterness to consume her would accomplish...pretty much nothing. She went into exile and lost everything.

I think, in the case of a linear path, she probably wouldn't be the jerk she comes across as in some paths...she might try to hurt Fox, but I don't think her mannerisms would cost her any respect, given she was hurt too.

I also partially blame it on the fact that the story was scripted terribly xD It was too melodramatic for its own good...sometimes I can't help but feel that Command was some backwards way of pissing of the fandom for some reason. Oh well.

The reconciliation in Fox and Krystal was atrocious...it was like.

Fox: "It's over!"
Krystal: "I still hate you all!"
Slippy: "Fox loves you."
Krystal: "But he hurt me."
Fox: "I'll always love you."
Krystal: "Okay. Silly me!"

Or something like that. They should've just left it to the epilogue like in Lucy and Krystal. :XD:

Yeah, exactly. Some of it was funny but the game seemed like a parody of itself.

Yeah...Command's story was...ehh...

And you're right. Some people forget that it was Fox who broke it off. I think it's because people are quick to blame characters that are newer to a series. :<

I have no ideas for a signature. Seriously. Nothin'. XD
